My regular boss went on maternity leave a few weeks ago. I loved her overall and she is one of the only reasons I stay at my job.
Well, who took over for her while she’s out is a complete micro manager. Questions every single thing my team does. Has no trust in us.
Her first interaction with me put such a bad taste in my mouth. Didn’t introduce herself, just emailed telling I had to do xyz. Didn’t even ask if I had questions. And what she asked me to do was not a normal thing I do with my previous boss.
Needless to say I could care less about work. Fuck that place.
