This company is going to get away with $16k of unpaid wages owed to me, unless there’s some sort of legal actions I can take.

I posted awhile ago talking about how it's been over a month since I've seen a paycheck from my company (I'll link the previous post for context). They owe me upwards of $18k including expense for travel that I had to pay, and was promised back. I'm really trying to be strong and figure out my next move but with no money, no lawyer, and no way of knowing how to take a company to court myself, I'm afraid I'll just have to let greedy corporate America win this one.

My only reasonable next step is to call the company out by name and take this publicly.

Any other suggestions or counter-suggestions would be greatly appreciated. And sorry if this is the wrong sub, I just don't know where else to turn.
