Do I have to do anything about a day I requested off?

I work PT at a public library. It's a great job and I work with nice people. My director is a bit forgetful though. Each month she asks availability for the next month. (We rotate weekends). I'm going to Berlin and London and told her the dates, which included my normal Thursday night, but also the weekend, I'll be away. I have this intense feeling that I should find my replacement, but I need encouragement to do nothing and if it's not covered, oh well. And please tell me it's ok to do nothing.

Note: There are 3 people scheduled, but there has to always be one person at the desk, which can be done with 2, so it's not like it won't be staffed, but it could be busy.
