imagine if companies had to pay 15$ interviewees

I wish there were laws requiring companies to pay 15$ to the interviewee for each interview they do. So many times I go to a first second or third interview for 0 dollars. After spending hours of prep time, a commute to an office, and then actual interview time. The people doing the interview don't care, they're on company time. Just something to incentivise actually hiring people instead of wasting an applicants time would be awesome. All the shit we go through for a chance at a job, no guarantee anywhere for a position. And that's the norm, you have to interview to get hired, could be 1 interview could be hundreds, and you have absolutely nothing to show for it. It could honestly be much for than 15$ but even just something to make applying for jobs seem in anyway fair to the applicants. Make companies pay for wasting…
