My manager has been an insufferable pain in my ass lately—she has accused me of only working 15 hours a week, going behind my back to critique my work where there is nothing to critique, and on top of that has been micromanaging me down to the hour. I had requested a manager change to our leadership that was denied for reasons unknown to me. I’m not sure how to proceed now, because I legitimately do not want to work with this woman as my supervisor.
Now she is threatening to fire me if I don’t turn on my camera during meetings, which is ridiculous because I never have anything to contribute to or present—which is why my camera remains off.
