Today I went into work like any other day. I have been working for them for a month and a half now, I’m on my 90 day probation currently. I went in they asked if they could speak with me they told me they were letting me go due to not meeting their expectations on performance. I asked for specifics and they denied my request and told me to reach out to H.R. for any questions. Now I do admit I had called out twice in the 1st month and left early once. My first call out was because I was sick with food poisoning and the other time I called out was due to having panic attacks after receiving bad news about my grandmother that was the reason to me leaving early as well. I was crying at work and was told i would have to stop crying to continue to work and was let home due to my emotional distress. I can understand if it was due to my absence, but my actual performance was fine I was never rude to anyone I did my job and went home. I did everything that was asked of me and made sure it was done to satisfaction. My work was checked before I would clock out of every shift. Should I contact H.R.? What should I say? I’m just really confused as to why I was let go? I’m a good hard worker I know I did my job right if it was due to my absences why wouldn’t they just tell me?
