What should I do if I know someone is getting underpaid?

I'm but a lowly assistant. However, due to circumstances, I've been putting in payroll and what not, and have noticed a manager, “Sam”, who has a lot of responsibilities, is getting paid less than another employee, “Jordan”. Manager Sam trained Jordan, and at some point i myself had been trained by manager Sam as well. I'm not sure if there were some negotiations, since Jordan got their current position by switching over from another department and had been with the company a little bit longer. (Note: the departments are NOT similar) The thing is Manager Sam does not work in my location, and other than email and via phone extension, I have no way of communicating with them. I wish to be anonymous in telling the underpaid manager, or keep it on the low because the relationship I have with HR management does affect my personal life.( Friend of a…
