I’m not sure if this is the place for this but I am livid and stressed. Back in August my disability and illness progressively got worse to the point I had to use all my PTO. Back in August I told my employer that I needed to apply for disability and he flipped right away and said I was a terrible worker and hung up on me. Well I’ve been on Short Term Disability since and just yesterday received a letter of termination with false claims to my work ethic. This is clearly in retaliation to my needing disability seeing as how I was let off training early, and constantly given praise on my good work ethic up until I needed disability benefits. I don’t understand how there’s not better protection for people who need benefits. Oh yeah and of course now my insurance is going to cut off about a month before the surgery I needed. This is fucked
