Two jobs, sometimes 13 hour work days … small rant

I get up at 6:45 in the morning to get ready to leave to my job as a Preschool teacher. I stay there for 5 hours and get paid around $15 an hour. After that, I have a 20 minute window to go home, relax for about 10 minutes, then go to my 7 hour shift at a grocery store where I make $12. A customer got mad at me today because I was the only person at the register (we close one of the registers an hour before close so we don't need to stay an additional 30 minutes afterwards in order to close it) and the line was very long. Look, it's not my fault the whole damn neighborhood decided to come in 15 minutes before we close.

As much as I like my work, this irritated me beyond comprehension. I'm only human.

Be nice to service people.
