My mom died on Tuesday. On the way back from the hospital my wife called her work to let them know what happened.
Within the hour her manager called to let her know that she only had 3 days of bereavement and that she needed to be back on Friday.
I was furious. My mother was still dead on the hospital bed. We didn't even have enough time to process it and they were already saying that.
Its just the fact that her work had the gall to call so soon to remind her to be in for work. It makes me so mad.
