Booth v. Home Depot, 2022 OK 16 – In this case, the Supreme Court of Oklahoma answers a certified question from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit by holding that an employer may not be held liable for wrongful termination under Burk for terminating an at-will employee for reporting the employer’s violations of the Oklahoma Home Repair Fraud Act and/or the Oklahoma Consumer Protection Act.
