No ice pops for you

I recently started working for a subcontracted company at a big orange box home improvement distribution center. Last week, it was 90-some degrees outside so during 2nd break in the break room that both companies share together, one of the supervisors for the main company was handing out creamsicle ice pops. Two women who work for the subcontracted company with me walked past the supervisor who was handing out the ice pops to go sit down and the supervisor stopped calling out loud “anyone want some ice pops?” to ask the women if they were sub contracted employees to which they said 'yeah' and the supervisor responded with “ohh, yeah, im sorry” very awkwardly. Imagine following the rules so strict you can't even give someone a fycking ice pop
