Hi all. Long time lurker but to cut a long story short I started working at my dads store from a young age, and all the way through college and got my MA in engineering but I’m still here. The whole emotional blackmail coupled with being from a south Asian family really just tied me down here but I’m done. I’m sick of working long hours on shitty pay when I could be so much more. Starting September 1st I quit!
