Rocket Mortgage Is Toxic

This past Friday, our wonderful /s COO hosted a live meeting with about 4,000+ employees. We were advised that beginning in November of this year, we are to work in office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. We would Work from home Mondays and Fridays (currently we are two days in office). On the in office days, we are NOT ALLOWED to take a half days off for ANYTHING (doctor appointments, pick up kids from school, etc.). We are to work our full shift on these days. This is all calculated because then she presented us with a second buyout/Severance package (the first one was presented in April). If not enough employees take the buyout, they will be forcing people to go into mortgage banking where souls go to die. The state of the business there is so bad that I’m deciding to take the buyout. While our wonderful /s CEO buys millions in shares at the ever failing RKT stock. For a mortgage company to give us two buyouts in the same year, just shows you how bad they’re failing. I guess we are fortunate to get a severance package instead of them laying us off like other companies right now. They just don’t realize how many lives they are affecting. Not just for those that take the buyout, but for those who are stuck working there.
