Unsure how to deal with this job. I started two months ago and so far there seems to be this “Nobody wants to work” saying going around, as people who lead the company are 60+ in age and have a boomer mentality. Can't exactly leave because I need the money to move/cover future expenses.
I took the job on full time to help cover my finances, but now there's a covid outbreak in the warehouse/ section of the building. Last week it was 2, now it's at 9 out of roughly 100 people. I asked if we can just work from home since it's all emails/phone calls and checking people's order statuses, but they said no.
HR told people to wear a mask, but they aren't because it's no longer mandatory. Is there any advice someone can give me? Law, OSHA, anything at all? I'm in the States
