My company does a time sheet thing, we get paid 8 hr days and it’s 8:00 to 4:30 with a 30 min lunch break. I been here for around 1.5 yrs and I always felt like I had to work til 5 each day until I realized that’s wage theft. (Especially since sometimes I don’t even get a good 30 min lunch)
I wfh, so I appreciate that part. However, I shouldn’t feel bad clocking out at 4:30. My manager messaged me around 4:10, I told her I was leaving at 4:30 for a doctors appointment.
I didn’t apologize, I one year ago I would have.
Getting paid 8 hrs a day, im working 8 hrs a day.
