A supervisor told a student they would get shot

I (F23) work for a college dining hall in my local town. I'm the cashier. I work nights and weekends and I'm around the same age as most of the kids there so I am a bit more lenient when it comes to things because I understand. This past Saturday a student forgot his ID which you need to swipe into the dining hall in order to eat. We are not technically allowed to enter their ID numbers as they “NEED” the Card. But it was the first week of classes/first weekend students are going to forget stuff and I understand that so I told him “mm I can but just remember to bring it next time cause you really need it” his 4 friends were behind him as well waiting to swipe in. I didn't realize my supervisor (F50-60) was right behind me when I was saying this. She…

I (F23) work for a college dining hall in my local town. I'm the cashier. She then proceeded to tell the student and his friends, “You know people get shot for less right?” and she kept saying it to these students. I couldn't do anything in the moment as I was stunned. Fast forward about 30 minutes and she told me to go take my 15-minute break to eat so I did, after getting stopped three times by students who had asked me questions instead of her because A. either they trust me or B. they know she doesn't know something, I had finally sat down to eat near the register so I'd be there in case something went wrong so my drawer wouldn't be messed up. Well, another student came in and had forgotten his ID but his ID also wasn't in the system so it wouldn't have mattered anyways as we would've had to look him up even with the ID. The same supervisor then looked at this student and told him the exact same thing, “You know people get shot for less?” At this point, I just couldn't believe it… I've decided to tell my one manager and even maybe HR as some other employees have had some problems with this supervisor as well. I don't want to get someone fired but I'm sorry I don't want someone that basically “threatened to shoot a college student” because they forgot their fucking ID. Idk maybe I'm sensitive but if that were me as the student I'd walk right back out and call fucking corporate. I really hope one of the students comes and tells the manager or another supervisor because… Jesus Christ. She didn't even stop there she said it maybe like 10 more times at the most mundane things and it seemed like her “catchphrase” that day and it just made me so uncomfortable. If I get fired for telling the truth about her then so be it. I don't want to be near her anymore.
