I have been with my company for two years now, working my way to a management role. Yesterday I was presented the offer with no pay raise in my base and a laughable commission structure. Basically 10k more if I can maintain my current numbers, while taking on twice the responsibility. I am starting to lose faith in the business world. For the past 6 years I have moved up in every company I’ve worked for but never saw a good return for the time I put in. I’m frustrated, angry, and poor. I do not want have to go through this hell all over again.
