I need advice!

Hi all, I am in desperate need of advice. I just graduated from college in may with a degree in environmental science. I loved school so much and was honestly excited for work because I love to be outdoors. This summer I got offered an internship at an environmental consulting firm, and while I didn’t really enjoy it all that much (most of our projects are actually transportation related, which I’m not totally into) I was determined to suck it up. In July at the end of the internship, they offered me a full-time job with a $70k salary. Even though I didn’t find the work that exciting, and was a lot more office work and longer hours than I anticipated, I accepted it because the pay was huge (at least for a new grad). Now, I’m a month and a half in to my new job and I’m starting…

I’ve been telling my parents about my dilemma and they told me to stick it out because at least my boss is nice and the pay is good. If you were me, what would you do?
