I’m a 23F and I work alone at an office full time. I’m the only woman in the entire company and my boss has flat out told me to not get pregnant. This is because he does not want to make the accommodations required by law for pregnant woman. The sexism in my office is heinous, I’m the only woman in the entire company and he doesn’t even provide me with toilet paper. I have to bring my own. I’m required to wear make up but only the type of make up my boss likes. No eyeliner allowed. For context, I’m a project admin, I don’t deal with customers whatsoever. He also doesn’t pay me overtime, he says it’s “like salary” but he legally can’t make me salary. I make 1610$ a month exactly. He also keeps his homemade AK assault rifle in the office and it makes me uncomfortable. Do you believe I could sue for all these things? Or where could I report this to? Feeling hopeless since it’s Texas but I can’t take it anymore and can’t seem to find another job soon enough. Also stuck because of a damn non-compete agreement.
