The company I work for has a point system, 6 points total for each employee. Once these points are lost, you are eligible for termination.You can loose these points for various reasons, e.g., unexpected sickness, and/or negative work related incidents, etc…
I was informed I would loose one of my 6 points if I took the day off for Yom Kippur 2022 (Oct 5th); and Hanukkah is still being discussed. Is this something that my employer can punish me for? Taking off work to practice? Location is PA.
