why do many people assume it’s easy to just go to college and then get a “better job”?

The working class isn't really able to get an education. Idk about you but I have to work 10-12 hours a day in the factory to literally survive. If I quit my job to go off to college like a privileged person I go homeless. If I take extra time off to educate myself I go homeless. Yet on reddit, home of the most genius, the highest IQs only. I get things like this told to me “just get a better job” “If you can't work and go to school you're just lazy.” What kind of privileged anal seepage is that? These people don't realize that the doors are closed to the working class. It's too expensive and too time consuming for a working class person to even contemplate. I get made fun of on reddit because I have a degree from a community College I struggled hard to get while toiling in factories. Going to class on 0 sleep. Then to work the next shift. These people are so privileged it pisses me off.
