Disclaimer: Not in the US and english is not my first language so, sorry if any mistakes and this is something that is happening to my bf.
As the title says, he’s not receiving a paycheck, thing is, he’s on “vacations” but they have extended it because some trouble and he asked if it was going to bd payed, one of the “owners” said yes, but, apparently it’s not going to happen. Now, he hates that job and is more o less minimum wage, he depended on that check and really wanta to quit, but there’s literally no options or any other better job out there.
Just overall hate and don’t know what to tell him and he doesn’t even think clearly rn. Lawyers are not an option as they are expensive and nothing would come out anyways.
