Insubordination review

I have a really fun job with a great team and wonderful clients. However it comes with a toxic, controlling, and manipulative manager. I’ve documented all negative interactions and have lots of screenshots of his unprofessional behavior, and his boss is aware of his misconduct, as roughy 60% of my team has made complaints against him. Yesterday I respectfully set a boundary to proactively protect myself from his pattern of abuse and he has reported me for insubordination.

I will be having a conduct review meeting with him next week. I have requested that HR and his supervisor be there. I have an impeccable record and am in no way concerned for my job, despite his threats to reduce my hours or relive me completely. I live in an at will employment state and he can legally do this, but I don’t think the organization will allow it.

Arm me with some very calm and professional responses for his baseless accusations. I already know his tactics will include threatening my job security and attempting to make me appear emotional and small so my strategy is to expose his belittling and condescending attitude towards his employees by remaining calm, tactful, and emotionless despite how sensitive I am to conflict.
