My employer is paying me an entire month after the original date they said the check would go through on. First there was issues with my banking number and I was fine with that since it may have been my fault but my paycheck got pushed back to the next pay period. Then something happened on their end and I didn’t get payed yet again but they said they figured it out and said I’ll be paid next week.
The only reason I haven’t pushed back as far as getting my check earlier is because I didn’t NEED it right now but if I did I would’ve been pretty much screwed
I’m wondering if there are any actionable steps to get this check earlier or if I even should seek some kind of help with this (again if i did need the check immediately i totally would’ve demanded the check earlier)
Edit: to clarify this is a seasonal job where I worked for a little bit before moving for college, i was planning to come back for winter but at this point i’m not sure
