I’ve been training into learning something new last week and I’ve been focusing on that this week. For a few days now my lead has been telling me that he wants me to get trained into something new again, which I didn’t have an issue as long as I focus on one thing at a time.
He’s been pressing on me to get trained for a few days now even though we’re behind, and according to him I basically have to keep up from learning something new and keep up with what I’m currently doing.
Yesterday I have reached my limit. He came up to me with his whole spiel, I have to get trained and keep up. I’ve been trying my best to keep up and I’ve been keeping up. He walked away and after a few minutes came back again back with his whole spiel and I just had to walk out. I went to the restroom, cried it out and gathered myself.
When I came back he apologized explaining to me that he didn’t mean to come across that his pressuring me, he just wanted me to be better. I’ve been singled out for the past two weeks to get trained from A to B and now to C and keep up with A,B and C. It was just too much for me and I explained that I felt overwhelmed. He came across really pushy and I felt singled out.
Am I overreacting or this is a form of harassment?
