In a morning safety/what we are doin today meeting, the main foreman on my job told us that we shouldnt be asking questions on the job site. And if we did, he would have us sent to another job. There is some backstory to this, basically the day before, the other foreman got frustrated when one of my coworkers kept asking him questions about how something needed to be done. Not everything is straight forward with what we were doin so of course there are gonna be questions. The foreman came over the radio and said that if it started raining we are to pack up and go home. It started sprinkling and sure enough we are told to go home. That foreman later got yelled at by the main foreman for sending us home and said it was because we were asking to many questions and he got frustrated so he sent us home. So the next morning is when we were told if we have questions to ask them during the meeting and if we ask them on the job site that it is the same as not knowing how to do our jobs and they will send us to another job. I have the morning meeting recorded and I’m thinking of sending it to my safety guy back at the main office. But I don’t wanna be “that guy”. What do y’all think? Sorry for the wall of text and shitty formatting, I’m not good at writing this shit out.
