Your brother's house needs a new roof. You end up over there all weekend busting your sack and are treated with a smile and some beer and pizza. But he would do the same for you.
At work, hell no. It just means that YOU give the extra and they get the benefit. It just means they expect something for little to or nothing for your troubles. The difference is they won't have your back. If a company says they look at themselves like family, ask em.what it means. Then ask em to come.over to your house and help you move your fridge and see how far that goes. Fuck that noise.
