70 hours a week isn't uncommon. Overtime is mandatory because the security positions have to be filled. It's not uncommon to get a call 5 minutes before you go home and learn that you're going to be staying for another 8 and 1/2 hours.
I'm giving everything to this job and it still feels like it's not enough for the administration. I'm drinking more when I get off work. I've always been in really good shape but even that is starting to slip a little bit. My days off are Tuesday and Wednesday so I'm not getting as much time with my son as I would like. I told myself I was going to go career with this but it's crushing my soul.
