Our policy is that if two people want to take vacation on the same day, the second or third person have to talk to the supervisor and get it approved or unapproved.
But this has not always been followed. Until we got a new sup that wants to go above and beyond and try to fix the shithole.
But anyways, sup texts me the day before my vacay that I need to report to work and that it was not approved.
I didn’t say anything.
I called in the next day as sick. Sup sends me a text saying I can’t use sick days like that and that he was going to have to talk to me.
I get that I might’ve not followed the policy, but at the same time I can use my sick hours for whatever reason just like everyone has used them. For sickness or for
