Hey all,
I work in manufacturing and as a matter of course, companies should run industrial safety Gap Reports to ensure that OSHA or other regulatory comites come down on us…or we accidentally immolate our staff.
A Gap report basically looks at the difference or Gap between where a company is and where it should be.
For some reason, our upper management is responding to this regular action with firings.
Our customers are every day people, our staff is working with dangerous equipment, our devices are dangerous equipment.
If our staff is injured by our equipment, the confidence in our product will be destroyed.
The board and upper management should know that we are doing what we can to make sure this doesn't happen.
Now I am afraid for my longevity at our company because I took this action seriously and with no expectation of retaliation. I honestly am struck completely out of the blue.
How do I protect myself and my colleagues? How do I repair former colleagues who were fired, NOT LAID OFF, under trumped up complaints?
People are going to suffer financial ruin over doing their job. And other peopleay die. Finally, the board and management need to know that a single accident with completely undermine the credibility of our company.
Help!
