I work at a restaurant, and today this guy in a suit comes in complaining about Starbucks being closed. He tells me the problem is no one wants to work there.
We argue back and forth for a few minutes then finally i ask him ” if they put a sign up for 20 an hour will they find staff?”
I then got to enjoy the moment he realized that he was wrong. He even apologized to the staff here and left a large tip. He admitted that the boss could easily afford that pay raise.
Remember some people are just straight up brainwashed, but some people can see reason. Keep fighting for what you think is right, and maybe we can change people's minds fire the better.
Tldr asshole ends up being a misinformed normal guy.
