So our office has had the A/C out for a couple of months, and the temp just sitting in the office is usually 88-92 degrees. We also are required to wear conservative clothing (like button up with blazer and slacks). I work at a mortuary so even during this crazy heatwave, we have had to do graveside services in 111 degree weather and then come back to the hot office. We also have a crematory on site so we’re also dealing with working with machines that get up to 2200 degrees and processing for hot remains and then again coming back to the extremely hot office. We’re basically just getting drenched in sweat by doing paperwork at this point.
Is anyone else going through this because this seems wild. Everyone is lethargic and grouchy and covered in sweat. Months it’s supposed to be fixed by this Friday and the temp is supposed to drop 100 to 81 by then. They’re fixing just in in time for this long heatwave to break.
