If the job isn’t fully remote, I’m not interested

The other day I was contacted by a recruiter of a reputable STEM company for a job. The job was a miracalous fit for my niche skillset; perhaps this was a new opportunity to explore. That is, until the recruiter dropped there was a strict hybrid policy; I would have had to move cross-country to the expensive-AF Boston metro area to take the job. And from what I gandered from the job description and the conversation I had with the recruiter, this was a job that could 100% be performed remotely. I instantly told the recruiter that I wasn't interested; I already have a fully-remote gig so why would I downgrade? FFS, I'll be your wageslave (like I have a choice), just let me do it remotely. American work life is already miserable, so why do these archaic twats have to try and make it MORE miserable?
