My boss accidentally sent me an email instead of HR about a recent vacation I took.
I took Friday plus the next full week to do a Friday to Friday cruise. I have three weeks of vacation time. I got the trip approved 6 months ago.
He sent an email to HR asking if he can switch the employee handbook to say we can only take a max of 5 days at a time because he feels me being out that extra day was too difficult for the office.
The reason it was difficult is he let his two daughters take that Friday off as well last minute even though I'd booked 6 months out. There are only 7 of us so having 3 gone was, I'm sure, obnoxious but the problem here was his refusal to tell his darlings no.
