On Tuesday I had a meeting with my senior and the team leader. In this meeting they went through questions regarding my health condition. When asking what specialists I’m seeing, I answered and one of them is a continence specialist. I’m 19 and have no kids, its a symptom of an underlying health condition I’m under investigation for.
My senior started laughing in my face and going “really?” Then when I said yes she kept laughing and was saying “you suffer with that?”, “like you need to use pads?”, “like every day?”. She only stopped laughing when the team leader started saying how she has it as she’s had 5 kids and was trying to diffuse the situation.
