My boss is trying to underpay me and I need advice!

So I need help figuring this out. I think my boss is trying to underpay me, but the way he’s going about it feels really underhanded, so buckle in for a weird one (I’m so confused, their accountant must be shit). SO. Last month I was underpaid by 8.75hrs (£84.96). Because payroll had already ran, my boss transferred me the amount, and said he’d add the hours to next payroll and minus the amount next month. THIS MONTH I worked 85hrs. Which should be £825.35. My boss has deducted £84.96 from that net pay saying that it’s to make up for the “prepayment” the previous month. So I’ve only been paid £740.39. But shouldn’t it be the 85hrs I’ve worked PLUS the 8.75hrs they missed off from last month, making it 93.75hrs? Then having the £84.96 deducted from the 93.75hrs net pay? Call me crazy, but it seems to be…

Call me crazy, but it seems to be they’re treating it like an overpayment, when in my head it’s their screw up from last month, and I shouldn’t be paid any less than the amount I’ve actually earned??

What do you guys think??
