I have tinnitus and I’m a line cook at my local hospital.I have a coworker who turns the volume up on the stereo so loud that I can’t even hide behind large equipment to buffer any of it. It’s definitely made the ringing in my ears worse,which cannot be corrected,I’ll have to live with it. I recently got a doctors note, but my boss said there’s nothing she can do. I believe the ADA should protect me but am I wrong? It’s also aggravating my anxiety so badly I don’t want to work now.the worst thing is I like my job and I’m good at it .i also have ASD so I’m not very popular at work either.but I keep quiet and only talk when needed
