So I have been looking for work for months now and sadly this has caused me to become extremely desperate and vulnerable.
The only thing I was able to find was a part-time job that is 20 hours at barely above min. wage. Which gives me some money for some basics until I find a better job, but I am still very broke and in debt. It's very tight financially.
I recently found a company who has reached out to me for a full time temporary contract. I had an interview this morning and they are willing to have me start right away. It pays 20$ an hour and I would be working full time. They also give a 1k bonus at the end of the contract. Downside is it's only between 2 months and 2 1/2 months. After that I will be left with no job at all.
I'm thinking this contract might help me save up and I'll have money on the side to finally pay my debt and rent until I find another job but not sure if this is my desperate side talking. What if I don't find any job and run out of the savings I had from this contract? I'm just scared and don't know what option to pick. Stay at the part-time job until however long it takes to find a permanant long term full time job or quit and take the temporary full time contract, have some money for a while but then be left with nothing.
