Why does society make people choose their life's work at 18 when most people don't know what they want to do next week at that age. It's human nature to try many things and have many different skills. Tastes change, preferences change, and views change in humans all the time.
I started a job 2 weeks ago that was within my skill set but something I have never tried before or thought of trying when I first started my career. It has been such a difference in my life to do work that I enjoy and find rewarding rather than work that just breaks me down. I really feel that forcing people to do jobs they hate or else will starve is a cruel and unusual punishment.
