Rage quitting is not an option but I’m about to blow. Employer not paying as promised. Terrible work environment.

I’ve been working for this job for about 6 months. In July, they asked me to basically start checking messages and responding to customers on the weekends. The only reason I said yes was because they offered a small monthly raise to do this and with inflation I was desperate. Basically I’m on call all weekend if a customer needs me but I don’t have to sit at my desk all day. I have not received a single penny for the weekend work since July 20th when they approved the “raise”. I’ve mentioned this to my boss and he just said that I would get “squared away” once negotiations closed with this new client. I’m irritated but I need this job. On top of this, my manager is erratic at times. He goes on these long tirades when something small goes wrong. He blows up like it’s not a simple mistake and makes it seem like we will lose millions (we won’t). He lies about previous communications and throws me under the bus often. He makes me feel like everything I do is wrong and it makes me scared to do my work because I never know what he is expecting and I just hope I don’t get it wrong. It’s all getting to feel exhausting.
