Automation will free us from working, but corporately owned automation will create even greater inequality, disempowerment, cruelty and new and unprecedented exploitation of the working class. How does r/antiwork grapple with the subject of automation?

As explained above, none of us are opposed to automation as a way of decreasing labor demands and allowing us for more personal time. But the idea of automation as dictated and owned entirely by the private sector means that we ultimately have even less power as workers. Where does that leave us?
