I have a bachelors degree, taught for 7 years, promoted through the profession, even mentored and supervised two colleagues below me, ran a program, was successful, but no one will here me. It doesn’t matter what I apply for. No one calls. No one emails. Someone else always gets chosen. Even for admin assistant, entry level HR assistant/clerk, etc. These are all low paying jobs but I would like to learn them then promote once I have experience. But no one calls. The only reason I have the job I do now is because I work where I live. Which pays PEANUTS. I couldn’t afford it AT ALL without my husbands salary. It seems all these companies want to hire people will no experience so they can abuse them.
