Long story short I need a week off work and its not an emergency but have made and paid for plans in that time, manager wasn’t available so I wrote it in the communication book for my team leaders to see, “I am unavailable to work 15th-22nd September”, having checked back at it now a team leader has written “see manager” next to it, the rota for that time has now been done and it has not been taken into account. I will have to speak to my manager when I finally see her tomorrow, need a really good basically unquestionable reason as to why I need the time off, I don’t mind it being unpaid, any ideas??
