Basically the title. At my job I’ve been working 2nd shift with 4 10s. That extra weekend day is heaven. My dept relies on another 2nd shift dept for work. Up until now, all depts on 2nd shift were 4 10s, but now the dept we rely on is going 5 8s and I’m about to just tell my boss to keep my 4 10s or fire me. If I’m going to work 5 8s I’d rather do it on day shift because I basically don’t see my family at all for 4 days and now it will be 5. I’m paying more in gas and wasting a whole day, I almost want to say if they can pay more I might consider. Any advice?
