Literal wage theft

So today my manager told us that, despite being told we would get OT for working OT, we needed to change our time cards from last week to 40 hours because of the holiday (labor day, ironically) during which we were off. This is not coming from my manager but rather above her. So I sent out an email to her boss, and flipped my shit on her including accusing them of wage theft. She immediately backtracked and said we would get paid for the time but just not time and a half. Ok, whatever. She also told me I could no longer do OT to support another department which I have been doing, with her knowledge, since like February. I was working only 5 or less hours of OT a week before but now I am taking all 10 I am able to take every week, because fuck them.…

My manager approved and supports this plan. She knows I'm the petty patrol.
