A little while ago I was working at a part time job at a fast food place. This place claimed to be a “Well paying, family friendly business.” But, when I went to ask for my first raise, after 6 months of working there, I got denied for the reason of being to young. Something along the lines of, “We are taking a risk by hiring you so young. You can’t do as good of a job as the others working here.” I know for a fact that I was one of the most hard working employee there, and did far more work than many of the other older employees there. The entire situation was a mess and I will never work at a place like that again.
