After I left my former employer in February, they continued to pay me. I made them aware of the issue multiple times. They’ve finally taken me off of payroll and are demanding I pay them back the gross amount rather than the net amount. I don’t see how I’m expected to pay money I never received. Nothing in the contract addresses overpayment. Is this legal? Has anyone dealt with this before?
