So i work as a cashier at a grocery store. And regularly all of the cashiers have customers that want to tip us.
But the thing is, we're not allowed to accept tips
Instead, the customer can go online and say so and so did a great job with my groceries. Which we the cashiers will never get to see or hear.
I'm not greedy but just tired of customers wanting to tip us but can't. It feels like crap every time we say that we can't accept tips
If they catch us accepting a tip, you risk getting fired
This sucks
No wonder people are unhappy at work, because we work for 13.45 a hour and can't accept tips
