I have worked my job for over a year and a half now and on my one year mark i got a raise. Last month they raised the hiring wage by 2 dollars and everyone got the bump. Great! Im back making the starting wage and it feels like my first year here was a waste.
Don’t get me wrong, the $2 increase was well appreciated and I’m loving it. The fact that my raise pretty much got erased has me fuming though.
Is there anything i could do about this? Should i have maintained the raise i received even though i got the wage increase?
